Konbini is the Japanese word for convenience store and Neko is the word for Cat! The design for this Konbini was inspired by small Konbini kiosks that can be found in train stations around Japan!

The entrepreneurial cat pictured in this brooch has a whole host of products on sale including cup ramen and an assortment of snacks! He also has a maneki neko to help beckon customers to his little store!
